POSITION SUMMARY:
The Consultant participates as a member of a team in providing services for consulting, training, and technical assistance work. This includes providing support to research and evaluation of K-12 educational programs. This position supports McREL’s work in the US affiliated Pacific region and requires up to 50% travel. The position will be located in McREL International’s Honolulu Office.

  • Researches, analyzes, and composes internal and external K-12 educational documents
  • Serves as a resource for proposal writing, report writing, and project communication
  • Performs quality control activities such as proofing data analyses, grant applications, and research reports
  • Contributes toward generating opportunities for new work through relationship-building with potential clients
  • Assists senior staff to research and identify potential funding sources (grants, etc.)
  • Contributes to meeting budgets and project timelines
  • Implements and oversees project plans
